On June 14, the 4th Root Origin Soil Conference meets at Beykoz Kundura—a place where a long industrial past has been reimagined into a living cultural landmark.

 

Dating back to the early 1800s, Beykoz Kundura stands among Türkiye’s most important heritage sites, now welcoming film and TV productions alongside a dynamic program of performance, theatre, dance, and music.

Shaped by the memory of the Sümerbank Leather and Footwear Works, it carries the ethos of local production into today’s creative industries—continuing to evolve, and to create.

This year, Root Origin Soil brings vineyard heritage and urban memory into the same space.
